AED Team for Global Health Private Sector Program IQC

The Academy for Educational Development (AED) and its partners have more than 15 years of experience working with the commercial sector to introduce commercial health products that address public health issues. We have proven through our management and implementation of NetMark, BASICS, MOST, SOMARC, and CMS the positive impact that a commercial and public sector partnership can make in delivering quality, affordable, and sustainable health products and services.

AED has assembled a strategic, results-oriented team that represents practitioners in commercial and private marketing, partnerships, a range of health care concerns, as well as program design and implementation.

AED's team is comprised of organizations familiar to USAID, such as Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Emerging Markets Group, Ltd., EngenderHealth, and the Population Council. New partners that will introduce significant new experience and expertise to the USAID Global Health environment are AIDS Healthcare Foundation and PA Consulting. Specialized small business firms Cambridge Consulting, Idea Design, O'Brien and Associates International, Social Sectors Development Strategies, and TransCentury Associates round out the team. Together, the AED team represents work and offices in over 100 countries that can be deployed quickly and flexibly to address specialized tasks.
